Sid And Nancy 1080p 22

The photography in Sid & Nancy is fairly grainy at times to emphasize the grittiness of the setting. For the most part, this is handled well. Unfortunately, like many Criterion Blu-rays, the 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 encode sometimes struggles and the grain can come across as overly noisy. However, this is most bothersome when freeze-framing for screenshots and isn't as much an issue during normal playback.
